December 16, 201113 yr Author yea thems the ones i was speechless. they are just the best looking blades.
December 16, 201113 yr As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Whilst, on my daily scan of ebay, I came across these; http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4cf02ca5a2
December 17, 201113 yr They remind me of my first set of blades: Founder's Club 200 series which were forged by Miura...
December 17, 201113 yr gorgeous irons, but very demanding. No help just pure blades. Short irons could look better.
December 17, 201113 yr Author had a bash with them today , they were made exclusively for a japanese pro in 2004 forgot his name. ddint game them took the yamms 2012 out instead( more later) but spent 2 hours on the range before the match hitting a heap of clubs. these and the tourstage x blade form 05 got a particular working over. was cold as hell today ball was flying about 10 yards less than normal. so wanted a more punchy muscle cavity today. anyway the srixons are quite rounded they reminded me of mizuno mp 68 in a way. very sleek sole virtually no off set what so ever. side by side with the miura sb-01 these actually not that much overall diference the miura are thicker the srixons slightly larger.big but very thin. i found it very nice hitting balls off mats and i liked the look of it actually. different to hitting in a match i know, but if i wasnt dead set on palying the yamaha 2012 i would def have gamed these. no idea of who forges these, but they felt pretty darn good.
December 17, 201113 yr Two hours on the range and a match, about an hour and a half more than I'd do.
December 19, 201113 yr Author Ohhhh man!!!!! Beauty is indeed in the eye i absolutey love them shafted withdgs300 bothered they are (or i play them magnificently) the pw is a little large compared to a lt of othe blades but i liked it and i hit it extremely well they are getting a bag spot to oz in jan im going to tug the shafts and put the ns protos oras in them thats how impressed i am with them put it this way these will stay over some much "bigger" named irons and i hink its bec of the look biger rounded heads with miniscule sole , "thats just my thannnnng " i love em who the drvil forges em? This could be pandoras box ill find out they were. MIC but at the sale price i seriously doubt (hope not) it they suited me beautifully Watch bst for blade sale now'!

December 19, 201113 yr I really hoped so. I must get a set soooooooooooon but I have already killed my savings for the next decade! ;-)
December 19, 201113 yr Author 3 ..., stiff in my 2008 yammys X in my 2012 and stiff that going in the srixons. + a set of ns 2fi5 in my 2012 yammys and a set of DP in a set of af -tours like the DP they aer incredible shafts, they are NO1 for me. rare as rocking hore poo tho. they arethe proto for the modus 3 those that love the modus, well u can imagine the protos. just magnificent.
December 20, 201113 yr well if they are that good i expect to see some of your yammies on the FS section. cmon stew do it!
December 20, 201113 yr I gamed the pro 100's for about 2 years with x100's. They are really one of the most underated sets of blades. The only thing that bothered me, whch has already been stated, was the size of the pw. It is big. The thing I liked most about them was the thin sole. I am a picker that makes good contact with the ball, so I like a thin blade with very low bounce. If you have that kind of swing they could be for you. They really are a rarity, because it is hard to find a larger blade with a thin sole. I replaced the pro-100's with the original x-blade mb's. I think the sole on the x-blades is one of the thinnest among newer modern blades, but they are also a lot smaller than the pro-100's.
December 20, 201113 yr Author well thast weird bec i got those to try as well def smaller. ive gone full circle back to blades. now if only i could play more...........,
December 20, 201113 yr if all that is bothering you guys from enjoying a good set of blades is the PW, why dont u just drop that club and get a similar lofted wedge wedge? that would make more sense than not buying the entire set bec of the pw.
December 20, 201113 yr Author i love the pw in this set, the whole set suits my eye i hit a heap of PW the other day and thought it was fantastic. got it as clsoe as with anything eslse ive had . and i was hitting multiple balls practice on course on short cold tuff grass. these were great they are dfinatly coming babck to longy . these and the sakamotos... not sure if anything else will be played.
