My Baby Blades specifically say '1957'. In my opinion Miura's perform better (stronger flight!) but Epon's feel better. Both are absolute topend JDM but really only suited to the 5 Hdcp or below. You want to be hitting the middle of the club a lot!!!!

think.. miura hit to millimeters

af tours hit to feet.

af tours immeasurably easier to hit consistantly to feet than miura to MM

but

miuras great when ur having a good day,

the miuras are very very small

Couldn't agree more. Your good swing day will turn out great with lots of birdies but your yuk swing day will turn pretty horrid.

Hello All,

Are Miura 1957 Baby Blades and mb 5003 the same thing? Any comparisons to the Epon AF tours?

Thanks

No, the Miura 1957's are smaller than the MB 5003's. The 1957's are equivalent in size to the Miuraism SB-01's.

Ara Selai, in a previous post gave an accurate comparison on most current blades, which include the above.

As a mid-handicapper, (whatever that means) I play the 1957's and could not be happier. They may be small but to be honest after a

few rounds the size is inconsequential.

Dose Miura still make non comforning iron or wedges?

I suggest you check my previous post comparing head sizes. The 1957/SB01s are substantially smaller. When I tried them, I found I hit a little outside the sweet spot, whereas I could groove in a lot easier with the SB02s.

I agree with the previous posters, who said the Miuras are sensational when you're on, and infernal when you're not. Homestly, nothing compares when you're on.

im going to re grip the sb-01s with a much smaller grips than the gripmasters , thoese leather things are humongously big and , they look awkward on the tiny heads.

ill give em another bash see if i cant get soem more love out of them , i shafted them up with the monaccos, they are pretty good shafts, still not a lot of feel, but more so than the DG range.

if i cant get the love i want. someone might get very lucky.

Lol Pete hahaha.

FWIW, Supo's SB01s are outstanding, if he decides to sell them.

I'd take them over the 1957s in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, they're too much club for me!
