Shankopotamus
As per the description in the proshop, the Crazy R D shaft is touted as one of, if not the most, stable light weight shafts of all time. There are several other manufacturers that make light weight shafts. Which of these are also good stable options in terms of light weight shafts for a swinger with 95 mph ss, smooth transition, and light load? If someone could equates a few various price points, it would be much appreciated.
Shankopotamus
Let me qualify this topic. It's easy enough to look up the various shafts and what the manufacturers say about them on my own. I've already done that. I'm in search of your guys opinions through personal experience. Again, which light weight shafts have proven themselves to perform, and in which ways: trajectory, carry, roll out, etc?
+TourSpecGolfer
What club is it going into & what is the clubs loft? On top of that it would help to know what you use now and what you want to change or improve along with you desire in the new setup.
Shankopotamus
I'm currently gaming an epon af-101 10.5* w/ ilima 60 stiff (could probably use an SR flex if diamana offered it b/c I load light). In terms of what I'm looking for... More of everything... Carry and roll out, hah! But seriously, I'm looking for higher initial launch but a flatter overall trajectory to get some more roll. I find that the ilima tends to get a little spinny when I go after it a bit. On wetter days, sometimes I find my tee shots behind the ballmark on the fairway.
