mygreenaliem
I have Taylor Made RBZ with Crazy Noir LS 7.4 flex and its 46.5" long. I am wanting to build a shorter driver with the same head and have same shaft but in 6.9 flex. I want to make it 44.5" for more consistency. Should I try to make the shorter driver same swing weight as longer one? Thanks in advance for advice.
supo
Dont think its a prob ull ned tip weights to keep sw the same rho id think and maybe a heavuer grip
robbie
To make the shorter club feel heavier, you need a lighter grip ( i think )........basically if the shafts weight the same, you are losing about 9 SW points, its going to take a bit of weight to offset 9 SW points.....I would probably consider some hotmelt in the head or try the club at a lighter SW, you might end up liking it..... Wouldn't it be cool if there was a list of all the pros and their swing weights - I think it would be a real eye opener
