IshikawaFAN
Why not give razr fit a go? I'm only aware of the legacy being J spec.

robbie
That was my go to club for a few seasons.....The FT9-TA which was uber expensive and the tour issue FT tour.....I honestly did not see much difference if any between the ft tour and ft9-TA...However with that being said, that was a great club, felt awesome, sounded great and was pretty damn hot, low spin and very workable head.....The only thing i didnt like was the forgiveness, not very forgiving, it kept its distance across the face but late to the ball resulted in big blocks and getting there early was pull hook city, basically this was a precise club and if you had a very repeatable swing ...this club was money ! I still keep a couple of heads in my collection because this is simply an amazing driver....it definitely can keep up with all my clubs except my Kamui ! However it sounds a billion times better than my kamui !
robbie
No need for JDM FT Tour, this club hits and plays like a JDM club ! Simply brilliant !
supo
ah no im just trying to find out if there was a sepecial jp version made. so the callway guys did not made a special jmodel for the japan market.. like they do with the legacy. its just one head , the us version. thast all. and they must import it here

supo
Is it worth throwing an illima 70xinto the ft tour8.5 think that migjt go ok?
robbie
i never had too much luck with the ilima....but any smooth shaft will do.....i wouldnt stick anything boardy into that head ! i really love that head, give it a whack Edited March 17, 2012 by robbie
Danj
Ft tour is a cracking head. However a couple of rounds in and the Razr hawk tour seems even better, similar shape and soft feel but with more forgiveness. Will be a monster when I get a ahina or an Accra in there. robbie
ive heard people had cracking issues...but there were a huge number of tour players using it and none had problems but Phil who loves to shave the heck out of his clubs....im sure if it was a inherent problem, they would have retooled.....Only those monsters on WRX can crack that head but damn, everything in the world would crack if u carried over 300 yards at 45 degrees farenheit into a 20mph wind with a half swing knock down.......I have a very modest swing speed and prefer regular flex ! i will hit a 300 yard drive on almost every round i play but the carry on that drive was probably 260-270 and i benefi from playing firm courses and my long drives are usually cause the wind is at my back and it was warm and i hit a hard patch on the fairway !!!! * best carry is approx 390 yards : )
Danj
I meant cracking as I good, but I agree I have heard of those issues. I don't bring the pain enough to break any head thankfully.
king6
i cracked my ft-tour last summer. as a big bonus my ozik tp-7x was also damaged after the head cracked. So thumbs up for tf-tour...
