Mjr. D
Hey guys, just re-doing my whole setup because it is BIG TIME necessary. Bahahha. After careful consideration, here's what i'm thinking: **Keep in mind i'm about a 12HC, athletic swinger type - hit the ball straight but thin too often. 125++ Swing speed, high ball flight, lots of backspin. steepish swing. My miss used to be a bad slice but now it's a draw-hook** Irons - Epon 302's with Matrix Program 130's - XX - 2011 Onoff Forged with Nippon Modus 3 - Tour X - Miura MB-5003 with Nippon Super Peening Blue - X - Mizuno MP-37s with True Temper Monacos - Tour X Wedges - Gold's Factory 52,56,60 - DG spinners - Sky Dream Jump Type Bite - 52,56,60 - Shimada Tour Wedge Black Utility - 2012 Royal Collection BBD 505V - 18* - Quadra Fire Express Proto Utility X - 107 grams Fairway - 2012 Tourstage X-FW - 12.5* - *** I NEED HELP HERE - Which one?? - Crazy Sigma Fairway - 85 grams - GD BB8 - 85.5 grams - UST/Mamiya Attas 3 - 85 grams - 2012 Rombax Type X Japan - 85-87 grams Driver - Egg Seven - Diamana X - XX - 78 grams Putter - I have too many to use just one. DaleUK
For me the 302's wouldn't give you the Help you "need" .. I've just gamed the Onoffs Forged with Modus3's ( soft stepped) and these give fantastic Results... They don't look to big and chunky, nor do they look like... "I can't hit these" ( I had the 502's before and thought about 302's... So glad I got the Onoffs ... Night and day different) Driver's ... I've tried a few, and heads are Heads, it's all in the shaft!! There's better ppl on here than me to give advice on the shaft needed, interestingly I've come down a flex(Firm) and I've found a massive improvement ... Yes it you try and swing the T*t's of it , you will loose the shaft but this year in focusing on lowering the HC!! ant
something to note is that the loft on all epons except for af-tours is stronger than miuras but they will also launch higher all things being equal due to cb design so you gonna get less distance out of the same club with mb5003, ymmv but roughtly around half a club easily and more on mis**ts. you might wanna take that in consideration for bag gaping as hitting them harder isnt something you really want to do even tho i'm sure you can. i have a set of mb5003 with 130 programms, pretty damn good shafts too, they weight on par with steel and dont listen to their marketing crap, i dunno who writes those things, they are not high launching shafts at all if you pick the right flex they produce very flat stable traj. they feel stiffer than than they actually play so for your quoted club head speed i'd go for the stiffest flex they can offer you. Gaijin_Golfer
The only concern that I would have is the game between your PW and your 52 degree wedge.
JimThitipongSrivatanakul
I have the Crazy Sigma FW in 8.2 with Ryoma F2. It's totally spectacular in terms of distance and feel. I'm also looking forward to put the Diamana X in the Egg Seven but now in a dilemma between the Tourstage 707 or the Egg Seven.
Mjr. D
Thanks guys keep me coming. I actually already have all those irons. Just basically giving you my setup. Have you tried the crazy black fairway 80t? How does it compare to the crazy sigma fairway?

Mjr. D
Hmmm, great shaft i'm sure but a little light for a FW considering my driver is 78g.
FatMan
The weight of the FEX Proto FW should be up there with the rest of your choices. Keep in mind that the raw shaft length is @ 43.5" while the others are longer (i.e. Sigma @ 44", the others even longer).
