mygreenaliem
Anyone have an idea of what driver shafts would match the playing characteristics of Nippon Modus 3 (S)? Been gaming the Modus with my epon's and am now really getting to grips - love the kick and feel.
Spoon
Look for tip stiff soft butt shaft. The modus is tip stiff yet butt soft Which makes it one of the best feeling shafts. The diamana whiteboard, ahina come to mind. They have that powerful elastic kick to it. Been gaming the modus for over a year and am all praises! Craig
Hi mate At the golf show the guys there told me that they have a Driver shaft coming out very soon with the exact characteristics as the modus 3 shafts. I love these shafts and that is how they told me. cant remember the name of it though. Supo was with me so he may remember

Out of interest, how are you both finding the flight? Do you ever get a slight draw and then as it drops it fades? Cheers
supo
hey yea it was the NS reggio blue white one, made to play alongside the modus, same characteristics i hit a bunch of them at the show nad didnt mind it one bit. had an epon 101 head o nthe mas wel lso i was hittign a combo i would play. spin numbers werent anyhting low like the diamana X i hit 10 seconds after it but the feel was good and flight i seem to recall was good. i idnt mind it 1 bit and i hit the shole shebang 60s -70x yea its not a bad shaft

Cheers they are the ultimate in my 302s. they are a good combo. well i get a nice mid launch i like the pure carry they give super super low spin as well. reminds me of the ora prototypes. Do you ever get a slight draw and then as it drops it fades? is that even possible? Lol well it depends on my swing but im a high ball hitter but welcome the added carry and low spin. before the modus i was changing shafts 6x a month. yes 6x
