For those of you that have hit the GD Tour AD DI or BB in the X flexes, just want to know your opinion on the difference in feel and performance between them and the higher ton carbon shafts like Crazy, Quadra, Fujikura, Mitsubishi, and Basileus. Please list the specific shafts you have played and in what flexes in your response.

played em all,

crazy the best

quadra FEX the longest but hardst to control

di good

BB control low spin

attas t2 LOW. mad low.

diamana good. control good anti left but not favoured to right too badly.

price is a huge detminant.

get a rpice range in mind at it makes it easier to describe ur neeeeeeeeeeds

i find the Tour ads to be very elastic. i mean this in a positive way.

sometimes i prefer the Tour ads over the 80t super high end shaft offerings.

Has a distinct elastic feel and powerful thumpy kick. DI7, DI8, DJ7 , 9003 etc etc.

as for the 80t models, i have tried fex 75, fex proto 75, crazy noir 7.7 etc etc.

they have a distinct almost glassy feel with a sharp kick.

boils down to preference, budget and flight characteristics.

now you ad boron to the choices and i will pick full boron anyday:)

Not the X flex but I did play the DI-5s in regular flex and I find the Crazy and the Quadra FEX shafts both a lot better in terms of stability and dispersion. And length wise, they are a tad longer but possibly because I am hitting it straighter on average :-)
