Review of CRZ-435 and Tario

Thanks to fomrum members, especially T, I could order and get my new driver.

"CRZ-435 (not 435 II) + TJ-80 7.4" - 10.0* (1.5" open), 324g, 45.25", D2.5, 265 cpm (Crazy guys informed the spec.)

I know there are the members who know this driver better than me, e.g. Supo and lots of post about this driver.

But, I want to share my impressions as a thank for all members help.

I played with my older driver (Skitter IS450, same weight, DI-7X) for 2 years, and I sometimes felt that the driver is heavy and had to use my hands to swing hard.

Since I hate the left-side, I always tried to drop my club inside of myself to not make a pull shot. When I have trouble with timing, the club lagged behind me and my bad shots were block and push.

Yesterday, I hit about 50 balls in the range and played 9 holes today with CRZ-435. Just amazing!!!

When I first unpack the package, I was surprised and afraid that the CPM number is lower than I expected.

Tario said that it is a just number, and it would be 270+ on other machine. I agree.

And, though it weighs 324g, but it doen't feel such heavy during swing.

But, I can swing this CRZ-435 very easily and much faster.

This head has very good looking, and is very square at address.

The feeling and sound were not metalic at all. The sound is little thick, and the ball bounces out very fast from its face.

I read that 435 is very low, but, in my occasion, the luanch was not so low. Maybe 10 loft and "low kick" shaft helped me to launch the ball.

Absolutely, the trajectory was definitely penetrating with low spin.

About TJ80, though I need some time to be familiar with this "active low kick" shaft, but I'm sure this is a great shaft.

T wrote "The TJ-80 provides control......without worrying about timing." - Yes, it really works in that way.

I think this low kick, with its elasticity, is very helpful to return my driver head in right position with square face.

No lagging of the driver. With some exaggeration, "Start downswing, do nothing. Then the head will hit the ball."

At the same time, this shaft is not whippy at all. It is very stable.

The driver flies the ball very straight. I can pull the ball to the left, but straight to left. No hook. So with push. Straight to right.

I think it tends to produce less side spin as well as back spin.

I hope this review would be a help for someone looking for a new driver.

This CRZ-435 is very classic model. But I want to remimd you that it is a great stuff.

p.s. Tario, I normally hit 275 yds with old driver. I could hit 285~290 with this CRZ 435. Should I change to 7.7 or just hit hard with this 7.4? ^^

This is a review of Tario.

1. Kindness - 10/10

I wrote about 50 e-mails in ordering this driver. Am I crazy? But, it's quite expensive thing and it's my first time to use high modulus carbon shaft.

And there too many good JDM driver in TSG. I couldn't make a decison between AF102 and CRZ435 even when I order. Same with the shaft.

But, Tario always replied to me so nicely.

2. Knowledge/Specialty - 9.999/10

He recommend CRZ435 if I want to hit hard without worrying left side. And he suggested TJ80 7.4 if I hit normally 275 yds.

I can swing the driver very fast, still hesitate to hit really hard.

Yes, he didn't know I can hit 285~290 with CRZ435!!!

3. Luck - 10/10

In my country, I should pay tax over $200.

In declaration to custom, there were some miscommunications between me, Tario, and the crazy factory.

So, I worried about the penalty on a false declaration.

But, as a result, I could receive the driver with NO tax. T reduced my expense, and I'll go back to proshop with those money.

4. Overall - You're the man!

After hitting the driver, I learned a lesson.

When you need a club, talk with Tario and trust him.

Thanks for the great review of the driver and of me!!

Just swing away with that club, the TJ-80 is a beast and can handle quite a lot.

It's always a pleasure fitting Crazy clubs as they work so well.

I am very happy it worked out for you both the club and taxes!

I was at the Crazy Factory all day today and spent a couple of hours with Clive from Australia as well in a fitting session.

I urge any of you who come to Japan to spend some time at Crazy, its lots of fun and we get to find your shaft.

Yup, next time you too!
