Lol i fear the skyball when hitting really shallow woods.

did the same with a maruman shuttle

i feared teeing it up with the egg and skyballed my brand new

club 1st round, i felt so bad i sold the club soon after.

im sure you guys have all your stories of how bad you felt

after scratching up a new and pristine club. well like i said

im not sure if il like the club shafted with a new DJ7S playing

at 43" d2sw and 266cpm. sound a lot better than the previous shaft.

now i can swing away without fear of damaging the club. lets see

what this guy can do.

That's an excellent idea! I never thought of it, and have never heard or seen anything like that. Sandee, when you say you tape the bottom, you mean the sole? Wouldn't that interfer with the turf interaction?

Up to you. When I try brand new drivers and I'm not sure if I will like it

I usually tape the sole. Just the area where it comes in contact with turf.

Wll not affect playability unless your using double sided tape or sandpaper lol.

Now I just tape the edge of the crown. I've ruined too many crowns , now I know better
