Ian-500
Hi all. I have an opportunity to buy an PRGR EGG spoon 17 degree with a Crazy FW 80 7.4 shaft, and a tmag TP 21 degree ute with a Crazy ute stiff shaft. My question is this; will I see benefits over my Adams pro gold 18 degree with red 100 stiff axivcore and Adams pro gold 22 degree with black 100 stiff axivcore with regards to (in order of preference) feel/control/distance? My SS is 103 with a smooth take back but aggressive transition to my downswing. I don't know if I have a late or quick release (enter dirty comments here!). Distance wise, I hit the 22 about 210yds - 220yds and the 18 about 230yds - 240yds As per the title, I need to let the seller know by this weekend. Unfortunately he lives too far from me to be able to test the clubs :) Clubs are mint and at a really good price. Let me know what you think guys. Thanks, Ian Edited July 11, 2012 by Ian-
idrive
I can't comment on the Tmag but the egg spoon with that shaft will be at least 10 yards longer, much more forgiving and easier to hit IMO. Probably the best of the best. Send it my way if you don't get along with it.
robbie
If its a good price, i would buy it just to try it out.....U can always resell it here if u dont like it and depending on your buy price, make a few extra dollars !
Ian-500
Thanks guys. I more than likely will buy both. I've always wanted to try a 'Crazy' shaft, and there's no time like the present!
MoreBeerBetterGolf
My egg spoon is the single best club I've ever bought. Ever. Can't recommend it enough. I'm an aggressive Swinger as well and I try to take a little off and let the egg do the work.
Ian-500
I'm struggling with egg at the moment, it's on the BST at the moment. Can't get round how the toe sits so pround. I may have to persevere if it doesn't sell.
MoreBeerBetterGolf
Which egg? The key of course is either adding head weight or adjusting your swing to let the club do the work.
