Mjr. D
Quick question. I'm debating putting my Diamana X in the Callaway RAZR-FIT Tour authentic or the Tourstage X 707. The one thing I like about the Callaway (other than it being $500 less) is that when adjusting the face angle, the shaft position always stays the same. Therefore after Gary "tunes" the shaft, it'll always remained "tuned". This is the first adjustable driver that allows this. Does anyone know if by chance, the Tourstage 707 does this too? Also, can someone tell me what the Diana X tip size is and what the hosel size is in the Tourstage? Very appreciated. Rob.
Vegaman
The Honma perfect switch has had that ability for 2 years now?
Mjr. D
Hmmm... weird all the other drivers out there don't. So does this Tourstage have this ability?
Vegaman
Hmmm... weird all the other drivers out there don't. So does this Tourstage have this ability? I'd like to know too, haven't seen the 707 in real life yet. I agree, with shaft alignment being such an accepted fact you really shouldn't have to turn the shaft over. The miyazaki dromos does claim to be so uniform and "spineless" (ha ha) that it doesn't matter though..It's made especially for adjustable driver heads. But Honma were the first to offer this tech, way ahead of any hyped OEM which is interesting. They also have the compact Perfect Switch 440 and 390 models? Mjr. D
I'm loosing my mind trying to pick a driver. I have the EGG SEVEN with a Matrix Ozik 7M3 (wonderful shaft BTW) that I do not plan on parting with (low spin, 7* head that fires bullets but is forgiving and feels pretty nice), only negative is the face feels a little closed... Kind of odd. Anyway, so I was planning on going with the Tourstage 707 but it's really expensive, no weight adjustments and the shaft rotates upon adjusting the face. So then I was thinking Callaway RAZR FIT Tour - apparently it's the real deal, weight adjustments, the shaft DOES stay in the same position when adjusting the face angle and the price is right - it's just not JDM (haha). Now I came across this Adams Launch Lab driver which is supposed to be one of the longest, best drivers ever - getting spectacular reviews but doesn't have adjustment options. Now today, the announced OnOff Labospec 420 Driver with adjustability (although it hasn't been determined yet if the shaft moves while adjusting the head and who knows how expensive). Anyway, I have a Diamana X shaft waiting to go in something, just have no idea what to go with now...

IshikawaFAN
Why not put it in a 910 or if your patient a 913, considering you mentioned the razr. Regardless of the head choice, you should figure out your most consistent "gamer" setting and just spine align your X to it. Btw, Anyone know if, Yamaha plans on boarding the adjustability train?
