Trouble in Mill....

Just got back( well I'm in the Club House) from the Practice Ground and I'm quite Gutted...

I've just Been hitting the TM RBZ with Reg shaft and it killed all mine in my bag!!

Must admit the Head is rubbish but the result was awesome!!

Could it be the Shaft flex works better for me, than my Stiff flex??

Seriously thinking of putting Reg Flex shafts in my 3 and 7 wood!!

Deffo eye opening!!

Yeah I think that's a good idea Dale, and then give me all the Stiff flexes that you don't need. Lol

Seriously though, whatever works for you then then go for it. What's your SS? Have you noticed your swing slowing lately or have you just borrowed the RBZ and felt you had to take it easy?

It's really weirded Ian, I've always thought I had a fast, Quick Swing and so I've tried to be more Rhythmic and create a even swing.

So I'm on the practice ground tonight , with me and one other guy I've never seen at our club. I noticed he'd seen me hit a few as he walked passed....

Anyway time went on and I had been hitting driver, 3 wood and 4irons...all ok I fact was very Happy( few bad ones)

When he came over , he as many are , was looking at my bag.... And asked if I'd hit this TM Rocket ball thing...

Long story short I hit it better than mine.. He than went on to tell me he coaches and said my smooth steady swing would suit the Reg flex in 3 wood....

Gutted as I've thought I suited the Stiff flex!

It won't make you any less of a man you know! Lol.

I'd feel the same way if someone told me that. I suppose there comes a time where we have to swallow our pride and just accept it.......or it could be a one off and the RBZ just suits you with the regular shaft. You may need to get on a LM just to put your mind at rest.

well who knows what that stock shaft actually flexes out to but the rbz 3w kills anything i've hit off the fairway...so i guess i'm not surprised to hear these stories. too bad they feel mediocre at best. however, i've always got the most out of shafts that spec'd softer than my ss would dictate. you just need to stay smooth at all times.

When I start my round I always have a "word of the day" theme.

More times than not the word of the day is smooooth......
