Thanks Robbie!

It was a nice day for pictures outside today in Montana.

1. Epon AF102 8.5* - Head Only

- 8.5 deg loft

I normally use an 8.5* driver with no issues launching , but either I am getting old or perhaps the low spin characteristic of this head

adds to the difficulty of launching. I could not get enough launch angle with this head.

Okay, this is a bit off topic but...

I'm curious if the other 8.5* heads you've had have been USDM or JDM. ?

I ask because we know the Epon is a true loft of 8.5*. Most USDM are higher loft than stated, sometimes as

much as 2* which would make them closer to 10-10.5* true loft. Have you had the loft checked on your 8.5 Titleist?

It would sure explain why the Epon is harder to launch and not because of old age. ;)

Just wondering...... okay, back on topic..... GLWS :)

I have used 8.5* from pretty much all USDM and JDM manufacturers.

I agree that USDM probably has the most gap between stated loft and true loft.

I too would like to believe that it is not my age... :) .

Unfortunately, looks like there is a length limitation of 42" for US Postal Priority International to Australia.

Anyone know of a better way to ship a 44" driver shaft to AU at a reasonable rate?

Thanks!
