gocchin
A huge box of Srixon Z demos arrived this morning and I was very excited to get a look at them. When viewing pics of the line in previous weeks, I had already decided this was the best looking Srixon line of clubs ever and seeing them in person only reinforced that. I will be taking pics of all the drivers, FW and irons over the next few days and be posting in this thread. We'll start here with the irons, the 925 Blade, the 725 Compact Cavity and the 525 Pocket Cavity... all forged of course and all for the better player. Many of us had already seen the 725 Forged make an appearance earlier this year in top Srixon amateur Matsuyama Hideki's bag. The iron is muscular and compact and has a nice thick sweet spot. All the models of course have the laser milled faces and versatile cutaway soles with relief all around the leading edge, trailing edge, toe and heel. The 925 is a great looking forged blade. It is small with very little offset and a thin sole and top line. Looks all business. The 525 Forged is a pocket cavity but it is still quite compact. It has a tad more offset and a wider sole and that pocket cavity makes it the most forgiving of the bunch. Interestingly its the only one of the 3 that is completely satin finish while the other 2 models have chrome. I can't wait to get out with these and hit them and do a more detailed side by side review.

gocchin
Another interesting note... these are not typical S25C Srixon forgings... they are JIS S20C... Hmmmmm.
corky3
Another interesting note... these are not typical S25C Srixon forgings... they are JIS S20C... Hmmmmm. I can never remember iis S20 softer than s25?
gocchin
Yes that is correct, Epon and Endo forged irons use S20C

idrive
I have to admit the 7 and 925's look really good. Not too wild about the 525's,
EdGolf
Can't wait for the review on their new adjustable driver this year....especially comparing feel to the other top JDM out there
RIduffer
I really want to hear more on the small headed driver.... Also, is it me or does the blade have a thick top line. Otherwise beautiful looking clubs...
xerobound
I love how clean the 925 blades look. Interested in the feel of the s20c heads. The 525 has some mass around the sole, if they made a 1 and 2 iron in the 525 I might consider them in place of utility clubs.
gocchin
I really want to hear more on the small headed driver.... Also, is it me or does the blade have a thick top line. Otherwise beautiful looking clubs... A lot of people are going to like the 925 driver... it is small compact and pear like the Yonex 380 but with better feel and technology packed into it ie adjustable face angle, lie plus interchangeable weights. Srixon rivals Tourstage as the two biggest brands in Japan but it equipment wise it does not get much demand or respect from outside of Japan. EdGolf
Would love to see how Srixon new drivers compare to all the smaller boutique jdm brands in terms of feel, forgiveness and of course distance.

RIduffer
are srixon irons endo forged??? I believe they forge their own...
swisstrader
We are clueless in the US about Srixon. Blades look very sweet, although a bit busy on the back.
gocchin
I believe they forge their own... They typically forge their own... but its the first time I have seen with S20C... must ask around...
IshikawaFAN
925 line is sweet! totally stuck between 925 and ts 905 blades now...
RIduffer
What I will say about the 905 MB blade is that it is not soft. Flushed feels good, but firm. Knifelike appearance looking down at them... But after all that they go where you want them and allow for some great distance control... gian11
Anyone have hit any of the new srixons z irons yet? Curious about how their JIS S20C feels like.
xerobound
I can't wait to get a hold of one of these. Srixon's producing some good looking clubs! and the new JISs20c...sounds like a champ! The material should make this thing feel like butter. And very consistent across the face and not harsh at all, even on slight mis hits.
EdGolf
Anyone tried their new drivers yet??
gocchin
I did.... they are very good. Especially with the tune-ability. I just need to find the time to post up my findings.
