I was messing around looking at wedges, then saw some called Mutsumi Honma. Looked pretty nice on pics. Made in Japan on the head... Are those just cheap knockoffs or are they actual Honmas?

They are not from Honma, I would just stay away better safe than sorry. Already so many choices that smoke these.

Another red flag is although it says "made in Japan" many of the references and dealers are in China.

That's what I thought. Made in Japan in big letters probably means Made in China.

I bet there's a Muira, Epan, Homna...somewhere out there. A yamaho might be worthwhile just for entertainment purposes.
