Posted November 21, 201212 yr will i like these? and what are they in weight and plability cheers Edited November 21, 201212 yr by supo67
November 21, 201212 yr 125 grams for the 6.5. I play them and like them but the Satins "felt" better. I found them to get the ball high despite being flighted. If the shot is well struck, the wind doesn't affect the ball too much.
November 21, 201212 yr Author ok so thats in my wheel house....are they worth me trying conssideirng i play and LOVE monaccos ????
November 21, 201212 yr Well, I haven't put my Monaccos on any head yet so I couldn't compare the two. It's a good shaft but it doesn't give you the "feel" of a Nippon-Modus or otherwise. Edited November 21, 201212 yr by reggie
November 21, 201212 yr the original rifles are the best feeling shaft i've ever played. the satin px's were really good but the later version just didn't have the same feel. trajectory was higher than i prefer...but what isn't. overall i think the px is a good shaft...but it's not anything special.
December 13, 201212 yr the original rifles are the best feeling shaft i've ever played. the satin px's were really good but the later version just didn't have the same feel. This seems to be common feedback with those familiar with Rifles before the TT buy over. I played the first generation satin PXs when I was younger and fitter and they were ver consistent and the feel was smooth and good. There used to be a saying.. those that like the Rifle feel won't like the TT feel and vice versa.
