Hi all,

A mate of mine might be passing a set of Miura PP9003s to me and am looking for suggestions on what shafts to put on these heads. Also got a set of XXIO7 heads lying around that I'm considering shafting to play on days when the body just feels off.

I'm currently playing a set of Epon 302s fixed up with Aerotech i95 stiff, and am very happy with them. But the equipment ho in me is keen on trying out other shafts. Any recommendations on something that is of a similar weight for those 2 sets of heads? My driver SS is around 95-100 with slow tempo. Generally decent with the irons, but misses tend to be a pull or snap hook.

Thanks

I'd match up the wedge heads with the same shafts as the irons. (aero's) maybe 110's instead.

The XXIO's would get a graphite shaft if they were going to be my "off" clubs....

the softer the flex the better

The closest steel shaft in weight with the same profile would be the DG SL's. Otherwise the EI profile of the i95 matches pretty much dead on with a standard dymanic gold/Nippon NS Pro 1150.

The SL's wouldn't be a bad choice to test out as they suit those with a steady to slow tempo a bit better. You will likely find that you have to hard step the same flex of the SL's once to match the same flex as the Aerotech i95's. They tend to play stout to flex when looking at the same flex designation from a number of steel OEM's.

Don't overlook the GS95 from TT either. Definitely an under appreciated shaft. Light weight with great dispersion and feel.

shimada ks7001. 90+ gram region and has a slightly lower trajectory

than the most awesome feeling shaft of all time nspro 950

Hi J,

Which graphite shafts would you recommend to him for XXIO7? I'm considering selling mine (R stock shaft) and buy a set of SR flex instead. Maybe just buying new shafts is wiser. Stock shafts weight 57g. CPM from 265-290.

Hope this question also help Caddie123. Never meant to hijack thread.
