Thoughts? Compared to the Matrix Program 130s.

Have the IS shafts which became the Recoils. Prefer the UST Mamiya Tour Attas...

Similair profile to the Program 130's. Fairly different feel though. The Programs feel like other Matrix shafts. Muted feel but with that distinctive kick. The Recoils feel more like a Steelfibre, similair profile to the i110cw or a dynamic gold with a much stiffer butt (think dynamic gold performance with the same feeling through the tip and mid with the butt section feeling like a Project X).

Interesting. Ya the Program 130s are high as s**t but accurate and no feel. Never hit Project X or steel fibre so I can't comment there.

Would you say these are worth considering putting in the Epon personals or just stick with a nice steel shaft?

Thanks.

If you haven't tried them out, I'd probably not go for them in something like the personals. The recoils are very much person dependant. In that regard they're very much like the Programs, Steel Fibre or Project X. You either love them or you don't and nothing done to them will change it.

Not a bad shaft to experiment with, I don't think I'd do it with such a flawless head though.

I appreciate the feedback. Sounds like you know a fair bit about shafts. What do you recommend putting the personals?

Thanks.

I am a big fan of the TT Monaco's but I recently hit some blades with PXi's in them. They are a very good feeling shaft with good performance. I have hated all PX shafts prior to these!

Merry Xmas

Thanks. So many choices. It's pretty much impossible to make a decision.

Not to mention grip choice and ball choice probably make almost as much of a difference to feel as anything else, too.

Have you ever gone through a comprehensive shaft fitting using different heads?

I did one a few weeks ago and learned a lot about what works for me numbers wise and feel wise. Will make subsequent shaft selections much easier.
