I am excited to have this installed in my Ryoma ST next week. Any comments on characteristics of what to expect from the shaft? I have been looking around but I cannot find much beyond Stews comments here and there.

Sounds like a very interesting set up. I haven't tried this exact combination, but I've tried the shaft with many other heads and got to say it is very solid. You'll be able to be very aggressive through the ball and not worry so much about timing. It will bring the trajectory down compared to most shafts, but with the ST head, I assume it'll have a great mid trajectory overall. Its a great shaft, especially if you're going after your drives!

I can't wait to hit my diamana X 70stiff shaft. Unfortunately, due to winter and elbow surgery, I won't hit mine until April. It is sitting here in the plastic, taunting me. I pull it out every week or two, ogle it, then put it away. Let me know what you think of it.

delish shaft absolutely delish

i warn ya u might niot like its "feel" as much as some others. thats a diamaana trait ive notcied in everything except the stinger...

but the performance of it in every conceiveable condition is worth the admission price

I swapped for 2 new 60s, haven't tried it yet. Desperate to give it a lash. I figured I'd stick it in my Yamaha head (that I haven't tried either) and hope it will be THE combo!

Stew, you are killing me. You are the one who sells me on getting this shaft, but neglect to mention the lack of feel until after I buy it?? You are a bad man. :atsg_smilie_punch:

It is a 70 stiff, but I am going to give it a whirl in the spring. I will be putting it up against my Fubuki K X-flex, Motore Speeder Tour Spec vc 6.2 stiff, and Quadra Fire Express SX. If it is a clear loser, then I may consider selling it. Going to use my new Callaway Razr Xtreme head that is coming in a couple of weeks. Sorry, I know it is sacrilege to mention a USDM head, but this one sounds like it is going to be very good. Plus, us left-handers have very little to choose from in the JDM options.

I got it from Tario last month, he may be able to find another one for you. Funny, it seemed to come from Geotech, as that was on the shipping label.

No worries MOB. If you decide to sell after trying it let me know :)

I have a 60s (Also came from Geotech w/ a pretty cool Diamana Divot repair tool) and tried it in a Titleist 913 D3 and really liked it.

Get a crazy left handed version!

I have a Crazy 435 head with the 80 LS Noir shaft 7.4 . I don't want to mess with this combo. I want an adjustable head so it is easy for me to compare the shafts and easily swap them out. I don't do my own club work, so if I were to pull the shafts each time, I have to drive 45 minutes to my club fitter. Much easier for me to compare all these with the same head by using an adjustable driver. Sorry, I know that you all think less of me for this admission. :tsg_smilie_smile2:

We must have got the same thing, as I got that divot repair tool as well. Very cool. Looks like you and I have the same taste in shafts. I have an 80 LS Noir 7.4 in my Crazy 435, and I just bought a Crazy FW80 7.4 for my next 3 wood.

Hahaha Ive been eyeing the Odyssey Versa 7 as well

I have been putting around the house with it, and it feels good. They apparently have a new one coming out in March called the White Hot Pro V-line that has had some very good initial reviews. I am eyeing that one as well. Callaway sent me the Versa #7 to try and keep as sympathy for my left-handed affliction. Very nice of them. The insert in it feels really good, better than my Scotty Cameron Kombi.

Arrived today in my Ryoma ST. Gaming this weekend. In waggle, it doesn't feel too stiff. CPM'd right in middle of stiff range.
