Rasputin
There are a lot of good looking drivers in the pro shop. Who is your champion and why?? I feel a purchase coming on, but just wanted to check some opinions first.
vincent
Ryoma is easily the most forgiving one! Yamaha is really punchy full feeling club! Crazy abit of a ting at impact but definitely a beast! Epon very soft and goes well but not my cup of tea! I like the epon zero but not an everyday gamer. So overall I think a ryoma is great compliment to your game!
idrive
What are you looking for in a driver? Goes straight Workable Feel Shape Size So many good drivers right now, and then there's shafts....
wmclarenf1
Without knowing what you want or like, I would say 3 to consider are: 1. Ryoma . Any model just make sure you don't go to low in loft. 2. RomaRO 460HX - Explosive face, tradition looking at address, soft enough feel and nice enough sounding 3. JBeam 435 - Still one of the longest heads out there but not the best sounding and feeling but performance is there. And as idrive mentioned and I full agree, finding the right head is only half the equation. Pay equal or more attention to the shaft. xerobound
I'd say jBeam, Ryoma, Crazy and Romaro should always be in consideration when in search of a driver! Ofcourse it depends on what you need, but these brands offer great performance and feel. The jBeam in my bag is hard to get rid of no matter how much I like new drivers. Just serves me well. :)

driverhead
i will mention 3 drivers that don't get a lot of attention on this site. The Taylormade Glorie and the Works Golf Hyperblade GAMMA PREMIA, and The Romaro Ray 460HX Black. In my opinion the Glorie and HBGP are very autopilot user friendly. The Glorie is almost Automatic to hit a high controlled draw with great carry. The HyperBlade Gamma Premia is very neutral with a mid high flat ballflight. A great soft explosive almost EPON TECHNITY MEETS CRAZY 460 FEEL AT IMPACT. It has the DAT 55G face material. Yes , I did reshaft both (who doesnt here?). I put A Crazy PROTO 513 in the Glorie, and the Miyazaki Kusula Blue in the HBGP. The Romaro Ray 460HX Black Driver Head had the hottest ball flight and most distance upside shafted with the Crazy RD but a shade more demanding to hit and not as forgiving as the other 2. . Neutral to slightly fade bias, with a a ball flight similar to the CRAZY 435. Edited January 8, 2013 by driverhead

Spoon
well i have pretty much hit most of the above with the exception of the Crazy 435 old school so cant comment on that. also havent hit any of the romaros. based on that my champion is tie between the 380 epon technicity and the Kamui TP07S. I will take the epon 380 on a track that favors carry and placement while the kamui for bombs away and open tracks. backups for me would be anythng yamaha. especially like the old non conforming models:)
Calvin
Yamaha must have a very long waiting list. Have not seen any test report of v 203 driver so far. If v 203 can run as Royoma or Crazy 435II, I might go for this one.
