Posted January 12, 201312 yr I just got my Miura wedges back from being shafted. They fit so well into my set of Yamaha irons. Although slightly rounder, the wedges flow nicely from the PW of the iron set. Practically the exact same size, etc. Probably the best flow I have ever had. Pics below but not the best. I can take better ones if anyone needs a specific view.
January 12, 201312 yr Contact is out on the toe with those wedges. Is that intentional? Nice clubs by the way... Edited January 12, 201312 yr by RIduffer
January 12, 201312 yr You've just posted what I noticed last week when playing this same set up. Had the gap in my hand and double checked it to make sure it wasn't the P wedge.
January 12, 201312 yr Thanks for the post. Thinking about buying the Tour now Mark Mark, The tours are awesome clubs!!
January 12, 201312 yr Brad and Jeff, you guys think I should buy 2013 Yam Tour over Personal? Assuming I can find Personal. Never hit the Tour but surely can hit Personal (hit Personal demo club a few times). Btw, the 5000WC is so good that I'm thinking about posting my Vokey Forged set on BST Envy Bob now. Mark Mark, The tours are awesome clubs!!
January 12, 201312 yr Mark, I still haven't made a decision on which irons are I prefer, they are both cream of the crop and both are outstanding irons.
January 12, 201312 yr Author Great set up B, what's the shaft on the wedges?E Shaft is same Aerotech 95 but am using 8 iron shafts for wedges.
January 12, 201312 yr Oh dear I think I went for the wrong irons!! Didn't you get the Yams? Now you want the Personals... Or do I have that backwards?
January 12, 201312 yr Author Guys, The wedges rock. Simple. Great feel and performance. Didn't get to hit too many different style shots, but these are excellent.
January 12, 201312 yr Great set up! I love how the wedges look very natural as part of the set. I also second Bogeydog on the wedges as being excellent. It has a nice simple design, consistent soft feel across the face.
January 12, 201312 yr Shaft is same Aerotech 95 but am using 8 iron shafts for wedges. Cool! Comparison to previous model tours?
January 20, 201312 yr I absolutely love the clean, no frills look of these wedges. And the SATIN finish looks great, however the lack of heel/toe and leading/trailing edge relief has me on the fence.

I'm a heel-toe relief wedge guy myself. Isn't an issue. Can't really say why but they glide through the turf, no problem. I've had a chance to play them now under a bunch of different conditions and I'm starting to scare myself how confident I am with them. Like I said, not really a Miura fan but I love these wedges.
January 20, 201312 yr Yeah there's nothing too exciting about the grind on these. Sometimes something just works and it looks like that's the case here.
