Spoon Posted January 16, 2013 Report Share Posted January 16, 2013 Was going to do a hybrid utility in 18 or 19, and a iron utility in 22. that makes sense. for iron like utility you cant go wrong with the 901 or the srixon zut. those are very very good and more forgiving than say your 4 iron. others have also tried the PRGR egg irons, they make nice utilities and are a cross between iron ute and hybrid ute. for hybrid ute i like the RC. they make one of the finest utes. Buy it and give us a review. :) I have an Egg 4i+ utility and can't say enough about it from a practical use standpoint. The thing is so easy to use from any lie, long, etc. I had a 3i+ as well but there didn't seem to be a big difference in distance so I sold the 3. 4 is 21* and 3 is 19*. I have both the 2012 Z-UTI and the Epon 901. Both are great iron-like utilities. The Z-UTI feels more solid and hits it a bit lower than the Epon. RLL33 Posted January 22, 2013 Report Share Posted January 22, 2013 The Miura HB-3 20* has become my go-to club. Goes and goes, high or low, best hybrid I've ever hit, fairway, rough, or tee.
