Was going to do a hybrid utility in 18 or 19, and a iron utility in 22.

that makes sense. for iron like utility you cant go wrong

with the 901 or the srixon zut. those are very very good

and more forgiving than say your 4 iron.

others have also tried the PRGR egg irons, they make nice

utilities and are a cross between iron ute and hybrid ute.

for hybrid ute i like the RC. they make one of the finest utes.

BUT for full out Utilities nothing will kick out the original adams PNT2.

very very nice and compact head.

I am sure the Yamaha is an excellent club. Buy it and give us a review. :)

I have an Egg 4i+ utility and can't say enough about it from a practical use standpoint. The thing is so easy to use from any lie, long, etc. I had a 3i+ as well but there didn't seem to be a big difference in distance so I sold the 3. 4 is 21* and 3 is 19*.

Has anybody hit the new Srixon Japan 2012 Z-UTI Utility? How does it compare to the Epon 901 and the 2011 Z-UTI?

I have both the 2012 Z-UTI and the Epon 901. Both are great iron-like utilities. The Z-UTI feels more solid and hits it a bit lower than the Epon.

The Miura HB-3 20* has become my go-to club. Goes and goes, high or low, best hybrid I've ever hit, fairway, rough, or tee. No ballooning, great sound, smooth as silk. Surprised I don't see it talked about more.

The EGG Utilities are hard to beat. The sole design is idiot proof without sacrificing performance.
