tomcat
The unit has to be aligned perfectly square with your shaft... i think it may NOT take the face angle of your driver into affect. So when it senses impact it calculates the angle of the shaft to the ball assuming you have a square faced driver. If it says you hit it with a 0* face angle and your driver is 1.5* closed it probably means you hit it 1.5* closed. This is my guess but I would have to ask Fullmiere on Monday. Android 2.3 and 4.x are fine. Iphone/ipad app is listed as coming soon. ty
jimmieboi
If the item arrives before release of the iOS version app, I may have to buy nexus 7 for this fullmiere!! I really love the prgr red eye, but this would be on another level!! Can't wait to use it.
swisstrader
I know it's early days, but have you tried it and if yes, what was the outcome?
shacco
What I do not get is how such a device knows when the face is square or not. It has to have a reference position. I believe setup position is the reference for a square face for these devices. That means if you don't set up square, then you will have wrong readings. But I might be wrong. What is the difference of this device to 3bays gsa or swingbyte, etc.? Sent from my GT-N8000 using Tapatalk
Vegaman
Cool stuff! I especially like thag it's android ready and iphony at a later stage, ha ha
chiromikey
i'd have to see comparisons with a legitimate data analyzer (ie; trackman) before i jump on board. will this happen during the testing?

MoreBeerBetterGolf
Sounds like a stellar device. My only beef is that once I pinpoint the plethora of problems with my swing, how will I go about fixing them? I thought that's what JDM ho'ing was for!?!?!? EdGolf
Any difference with Swingbyte?? In terms of functions? Thanks
tomcat
So, what's the first feedback of the testing? :)
gocchin
I went to the driving range on Sunday... stupid me I left the instructions at home. But it was pretty straight forward as the app is in English and goes step by step as you set up and swing. The bluetooth pairing is done in the app not in the phone/tablet settings. The unit itself is powered by 3 accelerometers, 3 gyroscopes, and 3 magnetometers which is why it can read so many points and movements. It appears to take a reading right at address and bases the face angle impact on this. Meaning at address you need to set up square and then it takes the impact reading relative to your original square setup. This is the only way it can tell the face angle since it cannot tell what your stance is or your body's orientation. It can only judge the shaft and club to a relative position. That said, data like swing path, level blow, angle of blow were all very accurate as it reads the club position. Speeds are right on and the 3D movies of the swing are awesome. I was able to look at the timing of my back swing and down swing, compare across all my swings to see tempo changes and inconsistencies. When my back swing was too fast thats when I don't strike the ball well. I was glad to see my swing speed does peak right at impact and when I had a few out side in swing paths I was able to conciously adjust by keeping my right elbow down which changed the path to inside out. Accuracy is hard to gauge since I don't have something like a very expensive track man to compare to. But one thing for sure is it provides very useful info that can very much help improve one's swing.
Guest kbeasley
Can't wait for mine to ship! T, please tell me they aren't back ordered,
chiromikey
thanks for the feedback! i know it can't be as accurate as an expensive lm but i'd really like to see how consistent it is compared with one. maybe one of the first round of users can report back once they ship. ;)
Mjr. D
Would you say this is the best unit like this available? This looks promising too! http://www.skygolf.com/support/skypro.aspx This looks s**tty... like some sort of baby monitor - http://www.swingbyte.com
Mob
Have you tested the numbers it gives vs. trackman or flightscope? There are a few products out there like this and their measurements have been somewhat questionnable when tested on trackman.

RIduffer
I have used the GolfSense, but as I don't like wearing a glove it is a PITA. Also, I am not so concerned about the swing speed detail as the swing plane and tempo info. As long as my shafts support my swing efficiently speed is irrelevant, swing quality is key. If those measurements are good I am a happy camper. If anyone want to buy a GolfSense send me a PM with an offer. My limited testing with it compared to the PRGR red Eyes, my fitters trackman and another device I have, it was within a couple of % for accuracy... jimmieboi
I got the device back at home in Bangkok, but i am still in Melbourne. Since the apps currently support only android so I had to buy nexus 7 just for this Fullmiere. Now I went back to the hotel and wanted to download the app, but it said the Fullmiere Apps isn't available in the region!! i`ll try download I again when I get back to Bangkok. If unsuccessful, is there a way to change region in Google play or download the app directly from the website and have it I install to the nexus 7!? This is my very first android device so i`m lost here.

I have asked Fullmiere but may not hear back until Monday. The app is English which means it is for a global release but it may not be permissioned properly in Google Play. Skip HopStop
How would this unit compare to "SwingSmart" ? I was getting ready to buy the SwingSmart until I saw this. There seems to be some respected spokespersons endorsing it. There are a few YouTube videos & infomercials on it. Looks quite good to me actually. RIduffer
Does it require internet access to capture the swing? Will it work with an Amazon Kindle Fire? Any ETA on iOS? Any help on those would be great...

sjdavies47
Anybody compared this to swingbyte or 3bays gsa? The Skypro also looks pretty impressive but hasn't been released yet.
