604_skyline
Tario, what do you know about these if anything? I had seen something last year about them in a golfstyle magazine, now they seem to be back this year with a new line-up http://gravitygolf.jp/ The driver seems to have a nice weight to it 80, 90, 110 grams, etc. The price is on par or higher with the likes of all the other full boron's as well. gocchin
They have been around a long time. We have considered carrying them on several occasions as we do have access but I will see again when we go to the Golf Fair. Very much more on the enthusiast level, much smaller than Crazy. xxio
I think after the Stinger (2) resurgence ahile back few companies have come up with Boron shafts. All in the $$$ price range. Most really stable performers. I wonder if any of them have solved the britlleness issues of the first gen Boron shafts. A pro had a Pnoez PX-i (?) boron shaft he showed me and said it was a US$700 shaft. I hope he got it for free.
Golfbaka
They seem to quite regularly make it into the bags of competive amateurs in Japan. I chuckled when I first heard the name. Translates as vaccine in English from the German Vakzin. The cure to my hooklitis!! I'm not sure how they turn WA-KU-CHI-N in Waccine though. xerobound
This is a shaft I've been eyeing too. Hope to get them in the shop after a closer look at the Golf Fair. :) Def might be my next gamer if it does what it claims.
nobmontana
I will be putting a Waccine GR-50 shaft for my VT511 head. Will see how it works out.
jm3
Has anyone gotten their hands on one of these Waccine shafts? Overall impression? I've never hit a high high end shaft (crazy, quadra) nor boron. Love to hear some feedback.
charge
I want to get a boron shaft and currently it seems crazy boron is the only option...any other boron shafts out there?
nobmontana
Basileus Z is boron as well. Had it in my Zero. Had a super nice feel to it. I tried a Waccine GR-50 in a Baldo VT511 last week. As suspected, too light for me. Overall club weight came to only 295 grams at 45.75" Will be selling it in BST soon. Was getting pretty fast SS but lost tempo and control. Not for me. Also trying a GR-88 in my CRZ435. This one I really like so far. Very smooth feeling. Does not feel like 80g shaft. Mid trajectory, very controllable. I have this club now as my backup for my T388. recommended for those who normally use 70g class driver shafts.
