Spoon
ok guys i have around several range sessions with the target tours. originally fitted with yamaha tours. in the yamaha tours they feel ok, super tight and a lowish trajectory for my liking. they are on the stiffer side but perform very well in the yamaha 2012 tours. now my blades w monacos were easy peasy, so easy to load and a perfect combo altogether, i got the crazies shafted in them yesterday and had absolutely the worst round of the year. a very easy to hit set suddenly became a very unforgiving club. thin shots galore , super harsh feeling and hard to load. feels more harsh than super peening blues which i consider harsh already. they were fine with the yam tours i dont know what happened. leads me to conclude that teh culprit could be the shafts. most likely not fit for my swing and playing ability. i will try the yam monaco combo to see if its feels a lot friendlier or forgiving compared to the crazy target tours. for now il be giving the blades/target tour another go this weekend. if it doesnt work it doesnt work and move forward. anyone so wanted a shaft to work but it just didnt? hardboiled
Yamahas and Monacos are a match made in heaven mate:) Absolutely hated the 2013 Yammies with Modus3, but after I reshafted them with Monacos, totally different beasts. RIduffer
Personally I am insulted by the SPB being labeled as harsh… Definitely the archer not the arrows... :)
Spoon
Personally I am insulted by the SPB being labeled as harsh… Definitely the archer not the arrows... :) most definetly. as is said my playing abilities. the spb are harshest among the nippon line. ive had really really strong guys comment the same. you must be really strong or have some late lag to make it work. both of which i dont have

potuna
Spb are not harsh to me, bend point is higher. Different strokes for different folks, now modus were terrible for me as any butt soft shaft is.
AccountaBilly
I have hit the tagret tours in 2 heads and found them very strong. I then switch to Shimada Tuor shaft thinking to be easy to hit but it was exact same feelings and flight of balls. Very hard to hit both of thewm for me but I am a little overweihgt and out of shape. Shpould start to work out soon but surprised that both shaft so smilular even look same except for colors.

jaygolf
Thanks for the positive feedback on the sp blues fellas. It will do my sale wonders. Lol. Don't hate the shaft, hate the swing. :) I love em, love em so much I have 2 extra back ups. As for your crazy tours brotha, send them my way, I'll give them the proper lashing they deserve. As a matter of fact, the crazy heads too while you're at it. :)))

I haven't tried the shimmy tours but the pros are lovely.
