Am considering one more set of wedges besides the Bolds and was wondering on the feel of the new Fourteens.

I like the idea of a higher CoG. Also would like to get a similar dense feeling to the Yam '11 and Crazy Toyo's.

-Just tried these and the RM12 have different bounce options then last version RM11.

-Not the softest feel but more of a solid clicky feel.

-The reverse taper does help in keeping the flight down on full shots.

-Only thing to watch out for is, like all Fourteen wedges, they have a "protruding round" leading edge so if you're used to playing a wedge with a straight leading edge. Something to think about...

Thanks Charge. That clicky feel is what I am trying to get away from. Do you have the plated or the black oxide?

-Just the plated... I think the black oxide is coming out in a month...

-Their black oxide feels a little softer but as you know the face looks like crap after a while...

-Don't the new JDM Miura wedges have the "high COG"?

It is clicky and it didnt spin as much as expected for me.

the Miura MB5000WC is a similar design if Im not mistaken with a slightly higher cog. Its one of the few Miura wedges that I like.

Dense, soft feel with slightly lower trajectory for me. Also, it has a beautiful satin finish and a smaller head profile.

Almost afraid to ask, but what about the Gold's wedges?

I have the Gold's. They're nice feeling (I believe Kyoei blanks...). On the larger side which is ok. Spin it pretty well.

I thought the newer ones came from a different foundry... Have to check the recent video...
