Thanks in advance for your responses. I have been offered a chance to purchase a Kamui Ray Thunder non-conforming head, but it's an 11 degree head. I play US OEMs at 9.5 and have both my Yamaha v201 and v440 at 10 degrees. Oddly enough, my v201 and v440 look like they are different lofts, with the v440 flying higher. I've read on this forum that the ryoma ST goes higher than the standard and wanted to know if the Kamui Hi-Cor also flies higher than normal. A 10 in Yamaha is almost perfect, I guess if I could tweak it, I'd go 1/2 degree up to 10.5. I'm really trying hard to convince myself that this 11 deg Kamui won't fly super high and cause a lost in total distance.. TSGers, convince me I'm good to go with this purchase.

Thanks. Tom

Depends on the shaft.

probably a crazy boron or gd bb.

Funnily enough, I've tried a conforming Works Ray 9.75* and a Yamaha 4.6V 9*, both with a Kai'li 60 'X'. I thought that the ball flight was very very similar. Just about a mid-flight for me. I think the Thunder is the same as the Ray, so I reckon you'll be ok with the 11* Kamui when compared to the Yamaha 10* to 10.5*.

put bb in her then its perfect! boron will go skyhigh...
