I'm seeing a bunch of these for sale now, is it because they are still blades and not that easy to hit well?

They are very easy to hit.

The Personals are too easy to launch for me, I lose distance due to a combination of launch and softness.

The Yams, I have not had too much time with due to weather and travel, but they seem forgiving to me. Am anxious to get them on the course and pit them through their paces. Heck I just want to get on the course already.

Both the Yams and Personals are very soft feeling and quite forgiving for blades. I agree on both not being distance producing. If feel and control are your main concerns they are amazing!

The personals are a bit short loft for loft with other irons I've played. They are very easy to hit though. The RomaRo by contrast isn't quite as easy but they're longer. The RomaRo 6i is exactly the same length as the 7i Onoff on the range. Checked the lofts and they are exactly the same. Imagine that.

I'd actually argue the Onoff is perhaps lower launching than the RomaRo loft for loft. Very different ball flights for me with same shaft. Onoff launches strong and climbs to an apex then falls whereas the RomaRo seems to be more of an inverted U.

So why are there so many for sale of late?

My guess is Easy to hit for a blade does not equal Easy to hit. Low handicappers find everything Easy to hit.

Yammies are easy to hit.
