Chanaa
Looking for new heads, slighlty more forgiving & distance. Anyone played & compared both ? Thanks. Currently using yammy v forged 2012 tours & epon 302s.
+TourSpecGolfer
I've got both here in front of me. Both are stunning but I give the edge to the ONOFF 13. We get this question often so I will work up on some photo's comparing the two. You can't go wrong with either set.
RIduffer
I am confused. Your title of the thread does not align to the question you asked in the first post. What are you looking to compare?
Chanaa
thks - will wait for the photos. I read the TSG review on yammies 2013 but cant find any on onoff 2013. @ riduffer - comparing yamaha x v 2013 ( non tour ) & onoff forged 2013. I currently play the yamaha v forge 2012 tours & epon302, so looking for another more forgiving set
rsenal
Currently gaming the Onoffs... Beautiful clubs (thin top lines / soles / medium sized / soft) and forgiving.. Had the same problem of choosing between the yammies & the onoffs.
bo178
I'm also gaming the 2013 yammy v forged non-tour with stock modus3, I have to say the buzz is true about its forgiveness, balance, and especially, accuracy.

Chanaa
rsenal - what made you decide on the onoffs ? bo178 - i managed to demo the yammy 2013 non tours. It feels very similar to my yammy tour 2012. The non tours have a higher ball flight ( though could be the shaft ), the diff was on the long irons ( 7-4 ), obviously more forgiving on the non tours. I must say the ' muscle back ' appearance looks awesome Trying to get a demo of the 2013 onoffs. Tried the onoffs 2012, forgiving & a club longer than my yammy tours in the long irons. It could boil down to getting the onoffs 2012 @ half the price of the 2013 version. But i LIKE the grooves of the new one ! choosing a wife was easier.... xerobound
I'd say that the ONOFF is a better choice for forgiveness. It is much easier on your hands on off center hits. The Yamaha is still forgiving, but does no live up to the ONOFF forgiveness. it does have an edge on workability. If I had to choose, I'll go with the ONOFF. I like the bit lower flight compared to their previous model and LOVE the new face on it.
rsenal
Chanaa - As I could not demo any of the clubs, I suppose the forums here helped me decide. Reviews on them had them slightly longer than the yammies. Spec for spec, the onoffs had stronger lofts though. Wanted the previous version as well but they had no more stock. In the end, it was a matter of which was more value for $$. Search the forum, plenty of reviews on the Onoffs (new & old version). I also agree that the ' muscle back ' appearance of the yammies is awesome.
