lykato
I came across this site but it was in Japanese. I used google translate and it seems like the problem was the cracking at where they soldered the screws. Interesting. .. Not sure if the pictures will show up on this post. http://bbs.golfworkshop.com.cn/thread-1648-1-1.html Ryoma D-1 Maxima is RYOMA2013 new products, February 23, the official published an article that in the April 24 issue. New Ryoma D-1 head Maxima in the first generation of super MOI plus super center of gravity on the basis of improved aesthetics, super super super center of gravity become later, the same 10 grams of counterweight screw head increase the face and the back-end distance, allowing players to increase the feeling of peace of mind and stability. The clubhead same three, the standard version of the silver, gold superscalar version of the black professional version. Following talk about the focus of this said, long ago, a friend gift Ryoma D-1 MAXIMA head a really beautiful, I heard that the club head materials are provided by the Japanese in China to do back-end processing . The excitedly day with a good shaft, preparing for the kill . The night to go to the driving range familiar feel really great ball sense direction, the sound is also super praise ~ ~ ~ ~, but hit 50 balls, ball tone changed a bit ~ ~ Does the club head will be excited? Call a dozen, and do not, have a problem, take a look at the face, no problem, call a dozen, played a total of 150 balls, sounds super wrong head slowly to find, identify problems and ass Open spent ~ ~ May be lucky to get a quality problem! Ask a friend to send one for me to play, this time well marked, the result is still the same ass flowering ~ ~ Originally did not play before the arrow is not slotted, 2,3 is smooth drop. When pumping 50 balls, this virtue. 50 apply again and again on the way things turned out. Test the third, fourth, or such a problem The above pictures click to enlarge. Brother I guess: two cracking the location of two solder joints, which nut is soldered on the counterweight screw head, the screw will have the power of previous shots, after several attacks on put the solder joints opened. Postscript, this problem is a serious quality problems, I heard the brand which side received the goods, but also do the test, the result is the first batch of head be refunded in full. The second batch of improvements to the process should be fully completed at the end of February. Looking forward to the new test ~ ~
wmclarenf1
It's in Mandarin not Japanese. Thanks for this. No problems with mine. This was also published on 23rd feb and I would imagine as ryoma has gone with a full release about a month ago only, the issues should have been resolved..... I hope :-) Edited May 11, 2013 by wmclarenf1

Duffer19
A, you should know better too. Mandarin is a dialect, the written form of this blog is in simplified Chinese.

Actually I didn't so thanks for the tip. It's a damn hard language to learn. Over here, most of us (or maybe just me) just know it as Mandarin or Chinese. Doesn't help that there are so many dialect groups as well.
jimmieboi
No problem with my type V maxima. I hit, only about 100 balls, I hit at a 120mph swing speed. If the problem persist, I would have crack it already. It's still in good shape. No scratch.
+TourSpecGolfer
We already anticipated issues and stressed to Ryoma the product needs to be flawless and durable. We stressed that all last year as well with the D-1. Problems can occur more frequently with this design over others. Keep your warranty papers, If you bought the product at TSG you have the full backing of the OEM to replace any manufacture defects.

I don't think it would break that easy. The previous model proved to be durable, same should be for the Maxima. The one from post could be the stolen club, really problematic for the first batch or fake driver. I have the real one and it doesn't seem to be that breakable.
