For the Maxima - Narrowed it down to these shafts.

The top three shafts I've ever used (that I can remember) are the Diamana X, GD P9003X and Crazy CB 50.

I don't know which of these is low spin/low launch but these are the ones I've narrowed it down to:

Crazy Black Tour 75 - XX - 76g/4.4* - not sure why it's only 46T considering it's their newest, premiere shaft...

Crazy Black CB 50 - 72g/2.9* (their ultimate control shaft - mid launch).

GD Z9003 - - 78g - 2.8*. Not high modulus carbon. Not sure if it's a low launch, low spin or what

Quadra Fire Express MAX WBQ 75 - 80g/2.6*. Not sure about the metal tip and kind of heavy...

CURIOUS ABOUT THESE:

Basileus Pro Spec Z - 79.5g/2.7*. Haven't heard anything though...

Fujikura - What's the story on the BangVoo 787, the Platinum, the Type X and the VT series of shafts made from space age material type s**t.

Nippon Pro Regio Formula shaft - haven't heard a word...

Diamana B - 77g/2.9*. Again, made from space aged s**t... No clue about it.

What do you guys think?

No, not necessarily. I do like the 50t and above shafts though. I think there is something to them.

i have a cb46, how different is it from the cb50 ?

My home course now is super tight, 2 yards off either side of the fairway iam on 4 inches of rough.

Giving up on length, whats the most control & tightest dispersion crazy ?

Its to go with a maxima D

Thanks

The Crazy Black Tour is 50t not 46t.

The CB50 is of course 50t as well.

787 Bangvoo is 70t.

The CB46 is not as stiff a profile as the CB50 which is really for the most aggressive of swingers. The CB50 is Crazy's most control oriented model, while the CB46 is considered a distance model. The new Black Tour is supposed to improve on the CB50 by adding more feel which the CB50 lacked a bit.

Ok so the CB 50 is still a better control shaft than the CB Tour? Both low/mid launch, low spin, right?

Thanks, can anyone else confirm this?

I would tell you to look a few posts up to Gocchin's remark, but you don't seem to care for my opinion....

I'll take that like I take my wife asking me my opinion on a topic, as a rhetorical question.

Why don't you just not respond if it's bothering you so much? Gee, I'm so sorry to ruin your day. How dare I ask related questions on a forum under more than one post. The courts really need to get involved here. This is glaring issue that affecting so many lives and loves ones. Make a bigger deal out of it you f**k.

CB Tour is a mans shaft! I couldn't handle it but a few golfers who swing fast loved how stable it was on a very windy day.

Forget Basileus, Their stiffest shaft will noodle in your hands.

I'm afraid its a long shot to find max distance with max control. Its give and take. Also different heads will play differently with different shafts.

For me I found the best possible setup for a straight mid traj. shot thats not the longest I have but within 10yds of it.

Nice Mjr, revert to calling people names. Classy.

I think maybe you need a time out.

I appreciate it, Chris, thanks a lot! Good advice as per usual.

Calling someone a "F**k" and I'm being condescending? How about you stop being an asshat and move on. Your questions been answered by plenty. Especially by the people that are familiar with the shafts in question.

Check your "interests" quote. You don't seem to "get it"

Technically calling someone a "f**k" isn't condescending. "Saying someone doesn't "get it", is. I realize you were just quoting my profile quote (which is strange enough, by itself) but come on man, you're not the forum police, don't worry if there are multiple posts alluding to the same question. This is a hobbyist golf forum with literally tens if not hundreds of thousands of posts. This is all basically for fun, nothing about this should be taken too seriously.
