Deep face ut and fw clubs

Hi all, looking for deep face ut and fw clubs.

I currently own 2012 onoff ut and fw.

I measured 5w about 1.55" (39mm) and 21* and 24* hybrid about 1.5" (38mm)

For RI Duffer – I heard you are playing ibrid. If you are, do you happen to know the face height?

TBP,

My i-grids are packed up for a trip I can get the measurement for you next week. What I will say is that the ONOFF Type S have a deeper face than the i-Brid. So if the deeper the better than I would recommend the ONOFF. I play those as well and am very fond of their performance.

I have one of those, yes. The design has not changed very much since, at least, '11.

I checked the A12 and they are about the same height.

I bought RI Duffer's old RomaRo Type R UT. 35MM face height depth is 62, The Titanium cup face makes this a rocket launcher for me. Easy to hit and very long. I have the 18* and really question whether or not I need a 3wd.

I see you use a lot of Miura irons. The Miura HB3 hybrids are almost 1 3/4" in depth and, for me, are the best hybrids I've ever hit. Long, smooth, no ballooning.

I have many UT's in rotation now.

ONOFF

TourStage

Yamaha

RomaRo Type-R

George Spirits

My two favorite are the RomaRo Type R & George Spirits with the TourStage coming in third. That said I like mid depth FW's deep are as RD says the ONOFFs are deep so are the TourStage FW's.

Don't overlook the Type R and GS though, the shape of those two from above beat any UT imo.

I have the older Romaro, not the new Type R. The new one is supposed to be even more forgiving, which seems impossible to me. I have the 18* and the 24*, the ti cup face makes these things incredible. Played 49 holes of member guest this weekend and every time I hit the 18* I got a what is that thing remarks. Not coming out of the bag. I am an 11 index, so not a low capper by any means and I think I could go Driver, 18* and skip the 3 wood it is that long and good. There are 14 non par 3's on the course and I bet I hit it off the tee on 6 of them, plus into the par 5's. Very versatile.

TSG,

What kind of shafts do you have in your UTs?

How deep (face depth) is the Tourstage FW?

I usually play stock steel because it flies straighter for me but have gone back to the Crazy Utility in stiff. I may have to tip it a little but I think after that I'm good with it. I can measure the faces for you in a bit.
