supo
finally pulled the pin and got one as i mentioned a few days ago. fujikura type x 75x shaft played it at Narusawa os saturday with my s-yard .388 dianana X as well. played bacically 9 each with them. in a 2 ball better ball individual event with craig. intersting format this, my GOD it tires u out ,when ur playing a match! anyway. after i got it wired and started hititng the middle with it a few ver yinteresting points came to light. firstly ,that shaft is BLOODY GOOD! its nowtoverly strong , nor over powering, nor is it weak, its got a nice tingy fell to it without being too glassy or rod like , and u can make it go both ways, whihc i really quite like! flight was lower than i anticiapted. much more so. a lot stornger flight with more roll out nad lot more penetrating . the arc was as perfect as i cud iamgine or hope for , there was ZERO ballooning or powder pudd slicing. distance was excellent. the 2 bad shotsi hit low and scuttling still got ok distance. the good ones were perfect. funny thing tho was i started hitting it when i really needed accuracy over the .388, the head shape i really like bit fuller, bit bigger bit rounder. choked down on a very eleveatd 8th tee and hit it mid fairway with a stigner shot. worked perfectly. this is going ot get a bit more of a run. i perfer its feel and its shape to the .388. bit more of a classic style. . time for a change agn. Miuramaniac
Glad to hear someone else praise the Yam Tour. I've been pimping it for a while but seemingly got ignored. Maybe it's just me. lol I don't have the hyperbole skills a lot of y'all have. Anyway, it's a great, overlooked driver in this climate of boutique drivers (Ryoma, S-Yard), but I've had them all (still have them all ) and the '13 Yamaha Tour is sitting in my bag. RIduffer
Agreed the Yam Tour is a great head. You might give it a whirl with a Roddio S shaft. That combo makes one performing club. Am a little curious to swap in a Crazy Black Tour as that shaft seems to be a perfect fit for my game...
