+TourSpecGolfer
For the Miura Giken fans on TSG. The CB-1007 with a custom Y-Grind. So what is a Y-Grind? It's a “Special Grind” by Yos**taka Miura. To me it looks more boxy with a higher toe vs the standard model. The differences are subtle but this one has it's rarity, had to wait several months for this set. Usually you see Y-Grind Miura wedges but the irons are not as easily found. I think they look awesome. Obviously like most Miura irons the setup is geared toward the player. I have this lone set for sale brand new. Its a small up charge over the standard 1007. PM me if interested, it's the only set we have.
+TourSpecGolfer
Its a lot more box toe, this is the grind they make for KJ.
+TourSpecGolfer
Just got a couple emails from customers saying that Luke Holowaty over at Miura Canada says the Miura Giken product TSG sells are fakes... What say you guys?
mr.haha
Just got a couple emails from customers saying that Luke Holowaty over at Miura Canada says the Miura Giken product TSG sells are fakes... What say you guys? Miura Canada just doesn't want to lose revenue to a separate business. For someone reason it seems like Miura North America has lost its appeal or sexyness in my area over the past couple years.

I think if they release the giken stuff in the states they would be doing just fine. The new stuff has been pretty solid
JayDM
Most of the gear they release in the states are older Giken heads, they just tweak them a bit... The CB501 are the older 1003 heads, the 202 are the 1005 heads, they can say whatever they wish at Miura US, but its just re stamping with some tweaks to the shape and grind. Nothing wrong with that though as most are excellent heads that go very well and feel wonderful.
Miuramaniac
I don't know if the photos are of my set, but I will say that's a damn fine set of irons, even if they are fake. haha These are some of the best-looking-at-address irons I've had. And they have the typical Miura feel, dense and firm, but solid. And Miura ball flight, stable and piercing. Yep, pretty damn good fakes. They are yours and I totally think it's one of the best setups of any players iron this year. I have a set of the 2007 w/ctapers that are awesome and I got my father in law a set of the same with carbon shafts. When Miura NA first launched some of the models were already 8 years old. The dumb part is the new models are cheaper in Japan than the old ones are in America. I think eventually they will sell the JDM models too, it's silly not to. ant
i'd say they know full well MG is real deal but its probably the same old story where they want to figure out where you get MG clubs from and act on it so that there is no steady channel of MG clubs coming to 'their' market. stating they are fakes could be an attempt to make you prove their are not and thus reveal your source for MG clubs by doing so. having said that i dont buy into previous gen clubs as far as Miura irons go, especially blades. what difference does it make ? none whatsoever. i also really hate this whole exclusivity deal going on as it hurts consumers more than it benefits them but somehow Asian golf club companies (Epon being another example?) seem to think they are in the same league as Ferrari and Hermès. its kinda idiotic because people who know MG clubs would still be able to get them even if Miura International somehow stops TSG from selling them, there are other channels. It's not even that, what your talking about has gone on for more than 5 years. Our suppliers have been around longer than (NA). It pretty much boils down to Miura NA not liking us.. Like ever, far before the spin welded stuff. We have applied for a (NA) account 3 times now to be rejected each time for the most silly reasons while we watched them hand an account to every garage shop in the country. It's a bummer because we probobly would have done good business together over the years.
