mogulpal
Recently acquired a set of SB-02 from TSG after owning SC-01 for more than a year. Both sets have identical length (5 iron 37.75), shaft (DG S200), weight (D1 on SB-02, D1.5 ~2 on SC-01), and flat 1 degree. If only one set can stay, with my improved ball striking ability, I would choose SB-02. The Verdict By no mean, SC-01 is as superior and exceed in playability than SB, especially the long irons where off center is much more forgiving. Nevertheless, it is this forgiveness that put itself out of my favor. In fact, the feel of center hit using long irons make the biggest difference between blades and non-blades. Gladly, I was able to repeat good hit after good hit with the 4 iron, where fractions of seconds of nirvana generated by fusioning One Tour D and the forged club prevented me to rest...until wife called it's dinner time. Prior to SB's arrival, I was planning to make them a combo set. Now, don't bother. The Setup Tests were done on all clubs (4-PW for SB02, 3-PW for SC01) on FairwayPro and Nike One Tour D. Miuramaniac
I've got a serious crush on those SB-02's. Exact profile/shape of the BB's but slightly larger. Must resist........
