wmclarenf1
Anyone heard or tried? Shafts and heads are supposed to be all Japan made.
Duffer19
That's an old one, A. Posted about this here many years ago and actually have a few of the UT. They are quite inexpensive for a JDM.
wmclarenf1
Thanks duff. The UTs any good?
Duffer19
It was so long ago I actually don't have much recollection? Should take one out (couldn't local the other 2 yet) and have a spin. I seem to remember it is not a high launch set up (quite firm for a R flex stock shaft). But then again, my swing could very well be different then.
Spoon
I loved their driver. Long drive stuff
wmclarenf1
Thanks C. I borrowed a used 18* UT from my friends shop to try out. If it ok and cheap enough, I'll risk bending it 1* strong :-)
+TourSpecGolfer
Anyone heard or tried? Shafts and heads are supposed to be all Japan made. Manufacturing is mostly from Taiwan & China, one of their forged wedges are made in Japan though. The new gold heads for slower swingers is made in Japan. They do have a couple of borderline clone/open heads in the line up though. It's misleading how they write KOBE - JAPAN on everything, thats where their main office is not the manufacturer. Shafts usually made by Fujikura, assembly done in Japan.
wmclarenf1
Thus is the club I loaned out. Headcover is very well constructed.
wmclarenf1
Hit the Team Yoshi UTII hybrid at the range today beside my Egg I+. As expected the Team Yoshi felt and sounded better than the clickish Egg. Trajectory was good, roll was decent but unfortunately the 18* Yoshi was not longer than the 19* Egg. My search for an Egg replacement or 17* hybrid continues...
