Anyone know the depth of the cavities in between each line for the horizontal original PZ face mill? And what is the depth of the aggressive deep new gen PZ face mill.

Just curious as the difference in feel and softness is a lot.

Thanks.

PZ Makes it a lot softer imo. It also improves the roll noticeably.

Sorry I don't know the dimensions. I like the original PZ over the new one.

I've been in a light milling SM490A phase recently.

I much prefer the original PZ mill too hence my curiosity on how deep it is. Possible for you to email Sasaya-San to inquire?

For the SM490A which I read is slightly softer than SUS303, light mill may be a better option for those that prefer a firmer feel.

Yes exactly, I think also a sound slit would do very good on that material.

Another option is to go for a firmer insert material but that sorta defeats the purpose.
