October 11, 201311 yr There no longer is an HS version. The HS produced more spin. The FW80 is not newer, its been around a while but still one of the best out there for FW's.

October 11, 201311 yr I ve been on the FW 80 for a while. it is by far the best shaft for woods. In my case it works perfect with the Ryoma (2 & 3)
October 12, 201311 yr Seems the topic owner got the answer, so let me ask side question. Anyone plays both FW80 and FW01 Evolution? I never play FW80 and find FW01 Evo stiffer to flex comparing to Crazy driver shafts. Putting it to my Ryoma F3 and feel it quite harder to fly the ball comparing to Ryoma F stock shaft. Mark
October 13, 201311 yr FW01 Evolution is softer, and made for slower swingers who want light and easier to load and swing. The FW80 is more than 10+ grams heavier and quite a bit stiffer overall.
