RLL33
All I know is I hit the longest 3-wd of my life last Friday with the XV. Hole No.5 at my club is 306 yd Par 4 with a blind tee shot. (We use a periscope mirror to see if the fairway is clear up ahead...). Hit another S-Yard bullet that left me 40 yds from the pin. Couldn't believe it, so I took out my rangefinder to measure... Wind, no wind, blind, uphill, downhill, or sidehill -- this club is a howitzer.
idrive
well one shot inparticular at NSW par5 13th into the green for 2 was acareer fw shot im never gonna better that one that forsure. Having seen all the shots you hit in Oz, I have to disagree with you on this one. I don't know which FW you hit on the Lakes Course, Par 5, the hole John Daley tin cupped and walked off the course on.... 2nd shot, out from underneath the trees, horrible lie, across the water into a wind that was against/sideways blowing hard.... probably one of the best shots I've ever seen. Period!! I'm saying around 240-250yards.... I seriously couldn't believe it. I saw it and still don't believe it.
Miuramaniac
Nobody hitting the RomaRo R-type long? I hit that longer than my XV 3-wood with the stock shaft. The RomaRo has a Tour AD MD-7; doesn't feel as nice as the XV, but puts a serious spanking on the ball.

supo
was a top trip we played pretty much every day , but for 2 days i think (???) , for the 3 weeks iwas there , and then they went and tested ALL of thier resolve at barnbugle........................................., some great golf on great courses. in prretty testy conditions most of the time. never a stil lday really. i must sy i wil be looking forward to gettitng back to parkland golf with greens like suburbs and watching my ball go straight where i hit it instead of meandering 20 yards left /right with the wind onto postage stamp size greens. handicap might get back to where it was pre trip..!
