gocchin
Have two of Varit's Gold's putters here. He can correct me if I am wrong but these would be about the 6th and 7th ones he has gotten? The first is a Teflon black inner Sound Slot with Next Gen PZ Milling. The second is one of the 1st Edition Seven SM490A putters tuned by Gold's and finished in a Teflon Satin.

tokidoki1986
Both are nice especially the seven, can't wait to see my seven.

+TourSpecGolfer
I've never hit a GF sound slot, what's that like? The shape of the seven putter is awesome and SM490A is cult!
gocchin
I had covered the original prototype on the blog here http://www.golftoimpress.com/golds-factory-prototype-inner-sound-slot/ It does not have nearly as much of a tink sound as an exposed slot but more of a muted thud that changes pitch depending on where on the face you hit it. So an advantage of this as well as it does not alter feel as significantly as a traditional slot/slit.
Spoon
Beautiful putters.
Craig
Again a beautiful result. You should be proud of your collection. Out of interest sake, which is your favourite type of milling. I am starting to warm to the firm feel of a smooth surface as in my Golds modified DWD
gocchin
The smooth surface or what Gold's calls fine milling is actually my favorite as well... still soft but good feedback.

I think this fine pz like mill was on most of the earlier gf putters? I think I had this fine pz like mill on the ps2 I owned briefly. +TourSpecGolfer
If u try very light milling on an SM490A head it's pretty darn amazing, let's the metal shine alone.
tokidoki1986
Fine milling from GF is already on my GF list after my SM490A. I'm thinking my 3rd GF should be either a fine milling or flat non milling with inner sound slot.
bkkgolfer
Hope to try out a putter with Next Gen PZ Milling. Feels like the ball will roll so true!
