last nigth i went to the range with a set of boccieri secret grip , gripped wedges.

i have to say i really realyl liked these grips ,look, feel and performance.

it made the club feel totlly differnt. the swing weight was realy noticebaly changed. it seemed the balls i hit with them were much easier to keep on plane and swing true line thru the path, there really was a noticebale differnce in feel. only thing i wasnt really thrilled with was the light head at impact. diddnt feel like i cud generate a lot of guuuuuuuuuush on it.

anyone else played these adn ur thoughts pls gents..

before i do a set of irons , im looking for more feedback

I tried a couple of these grips and liked them at first. As you stated, it helped keep on swing plane. After a week or so, I noticed that I had a higher ball flight, which I did not like. Also, it changed the balance point of the club too much for me and made the club head feel too light. I believe by going to this grip you change the characteristics/performance of the shaft itself - just my belief.

Nicklaus supposedly swears by these, says he always weighted his grips, which is weird because you'd think with his swing and game he'd want his clubs to feel like hammers... I'll be curious to see how you like them.
