+TourSpecGolfer
Few have ordered Buchi, The lead time scares some people away. (16 weeks) We just met with him a couple days ago and there is nothing he can do to shorten it as he is in very high demand in Japan. Guys his gear is special, especially in the feel, performance and grind department. Those who have his clubs understand this. The two models you posted we posted a full year ago. Those don't have to look that way when you order from TSG. Everything can be changed about it from the stamping, to logo, finish, grind etc.. etc.. it gets nutz... We are meeting up with him at his factory in Himeji in March and will do a full feature on him. If you want a set be prepared to wait and have some ideas in mind before you contact T. I think a few guys here can comment on Buchi clubs. Some of the best grinds available today. I've seen guys take the same head made of the same material and create stinkers. Buchi is a special man. wmclarenf1
Thanks Chris. Thinking of another set which I will put mci 70 in and toying with buchi or seven.
Craig
Well having a set of the Buchi Blades, and waiting for about 4-5 months for them, I can honestly say that I could not agree more with what Chris has just said. The Buchi irons that I have are the best I have ever hit in the feel and performance departments. Until now the Miurism line held that title. I have actually asked Tario who this Buchi guy is, as I think he is at the top of the tree.
tokidoki1986
The more I heard about this irons is the more I want to get a set of them. Planning to have a full fitting session and customization with Tario @ their factory next time I visit Japan hopefully I can schedule sometime for an appointment. +TourSpecGolfer
Not associated with P-Tune, that's just custom stamping. Fuso Dream Buchi's parent company owned Solid Contacts previously. Sheep means nothing, it was the first thing we requested removed for TSG models. gocchin
The reason P-tune is on those buchi blades is Tabuchi-san made them for a player (T.A.) contracted to P-Tune. This is similar to when Yururi had to put Kasco on their Flat Backs, cause Dineesh Chand was a Kasco staffer but played Yururi blades. Just to be clear, Buchi has no relation and was never part of Solid Contacts. Buchi now falls under the Fuso Dream umbrella which houses former Solid Contacts founder and chief designer Kusaba-san. Kusaba-san focuses on custom fitting (for all Fuso brands) and designing the Shephard line. Buchi has always been Tabuchi-san alone though it never became its own brand "Buchi" until coming under the Fuso group. Tae owns the MT202. tokidoki1986
As far as I've seen the pictures of Buchi, I think Craig set is look best in my eye so hopefully mine will look as good as that. By the way is there a reason behind why it has to be a sheep, what is the sheep represent for the brand?
