Posted April 8, 201410 yr comment_223558 anyway long story short after dads surgery for a bypass last year i am overhauling his bag. looking for the lightest possible driver shafts that are high launch and mid to high spin. so far i have built him couple of drivers using the Fujikura air speeder at 33 grams. being the eternal tinkerer he wants other brands of shafts that are sub 40. can anyone recommend? tahnks
April 8, 201410 yr comment_223572 C, I know your Dad was somewhat of a strong player before so just not sure sub 40 would be the way to go. Having said that you could consider gd SL4. I am not sure there is a SL3. I know one should be careful after a bypass but does it mean he has to use ultra light shafts? There are plenty of ultra light JDM drivers around but I guess, Epon is not one of them.

April 8, 201410 yr Author comment_223595 Uncle rob, J Dad is still recovering after hus sestuple bypass The guys endurance is shot for now, daily therapy and Ehile in therapy developed a frozen shoulder. Cant even lift a wedge quarter high. Just want motivational gear. Purchaed a couple of air speeders 33grams and have the clubs in mind. His aero 89 and quafra 725i are barbells for him now:(
April 8, 201410 yr comment_223598 Well C, just ease your Dad into things and don't rush it. Perhaps a lady club might work best for the time being as long as you don't get him a pink driver head. : ) I too try to play as much as I can nowadays as I don't know when I would have to stop.
April 8, 201410 yr comment_223603 C How about the TPRX Raytis Ravie It is 49g in RR flex. That may work.
April 8, 201410 yr comment_223606 I know Fujikura is working on a prototype that is 25 grams which i think will be the lightest. I would also say look at the Honma ARMRQ in 40 & 45 grams attached to the BERES E-01 or 480cc non conforming amazing spec. For slower swingers seeking uber light and easy specs I've found the most success suggesting Honma. The 480cc high cor has me curious, imagine if it was available in 9.5, 199g, square face neutral bias it might be quite the toy.
