Headcover is different.

Headcover is different.

You are assuming yours is real… :atsg_smilie_punch::tsg_smiley_streak::tsg_smilie_smile2:

that is the older ryoma headcover not the maxima one.

the head itself looks real....my maxima type v also has a 7 digit serial number on it.

Well, there is no free lunch, at least not brand new Ryoma heads. The price on that site is just too low and the head being shipped from China. I always doubt those stories that heads are stolen from official factory floor and sell at cheap price on the internet.

was it purchased off of this site? my earlier posts were in reference to the pics you posted.

No I got it off eBay ... Also the serial number is suppose to star with MV I believe

I mean it's the best fake club I've seen by far ... Without the wrong serial number, size is smaller than my 103 (which dunno if it should be), and head cover i can't tell the difference ...

Is the sole silver or black? Did you order the Type D or Type V? D should be silver in which case an MD serial could be correct.

It's a type v ... Black sole ... Serial number is wrong

Man....those fakes are getting good

The real one with serial number I think, mine has

Not to hijack the thread, but where can you try these clubs out, in america, before buying them? do you buy them on reputation? try them trade shows?

Watch out Epon lovers....aliexpress have fake Epon personals for sale now. :o

They are on the market for a few years already.

I think the fake irons don't have the serial number on 7 iron though

Fake stuffs just getting better and better ><"

Oh wow .... That's pretty similar ...

Ryoma had reported this a while back, apparently some molds and designs were stolen and fakes produced.

Though at the time those did not have serials.

This is why if the price is too good to be true it usually is and clubs like Ryoma and Epon should be bought from authorized dealers.

That serial is incorrect.

It should not be MD as the head is black.

At least those are from the same mold. I had a chance to hit a few ball on the range with a set of fake Maruman Majesty irons. One of the guys that I play occasionally bought a set of knock off for under $400 in China which included driver, 3,5w and a full set of irons. For those familiar with Majesty line, it is as expensive if not more than Honma. The guy knows they were fakes but thats what he wanted. Cant see myself playing fakes.

If the price is too good to be true it usually is. Also TSG is Ryoma's official international retailer.

If its selling somewhere else like Ebay and if it did not come from us then there is a distinct possibility it is not legit.
