+TourSpecGolfer
If the Yamaha RMX UT married the ONOFF UT this is what you would get... The TW717 Utility Wood by Honma. It reminds me of the RMX UT with it's face profile and how it appears at setup. It reminds us of the ONOFF Fairway Wings Type-S because of the way it feels. As far as performance goes think ONOFF but slightly easier to get up. A nearly perfect combo. It's an undersized UT with a rounded leading edge and a low cg created by the weight screw on the sole. Honma makes these in 16/19/22 and the lower the loft the closer the weight is placed toward the face. We are in luck because Honma has a pretty awesome shaft option for this, the Vizard UT950 which is in the mid 90's range designed for the player. Mjr. D
Both slightly closed faces? Booooo!
+TourSpecGolfer
Both slightly closed faces? Booooo! The shaft is ahead of the head so it's hard to tell. When I hold a club with my left hand and take the shot that is the tendency. If I were left handed and holding it with my right the shaft would be behind the head. Everything looks closed to you! Supposedly straight, think their trying to trick us?
Mjr. D
No I mean the Egg 7 and Maxima are definitely slightly closed. The TM SLDR, Crazy 430 seemed totally neutral. But ya, pictures can definitely be deceiving.

Duffer19
Any regular or SR flex with the Vizard stock shaft in the UT? It seems to be all in S flex unless go with shaft upgrades. Edited May 2, 2014 by Duffer19
+TourSpecGolfer
I'm pretty sure they will stick any vizard UT shaft in there for us. Here are your options, scroll to the bottom for specs: http://www.honmagolf.co.jp/en/item/vizard/ I don't see any SR but I do see R and we can inquire about SR or picking a shaft closest to it. Duffer19
Just read somewhere that the vizard ut shaft is called uniflex whatever that means. I believe the flexes is differentiate by weights.

I believe the flexes is differentiate by weights. Isn't that silly of them, they actually list the UT shaft in cpm's instead of flex? The Vizard UT950 is almost as stiff as NS950 Steel and a lot stiffer than the ARMRQ8 UT in stiff. If you want a softer you can go lighter with vizard or if not at the stiffer end of the ARMRQ8 series. I know your looking for SR but the cpm's on the ARMRQ8 in stiff don't play read like a normal stiff flex.
