Any feedback on Modart Driver, FW, Hybrid?

Recommended Posts

I have the glue drying in all 3 right now, photo's next then I will get out and give them a whack.

The TRPX Touale in stiff tipped is going in the Deep modart, Crazy in the UT, and FW80 in the FW.

2 custom hand made suda-san wedges are also here.

those unreal CBC irons are shipping today to customers as well.

My brief experience with the D(its not deep as I expected it to be) was very anti left and despite its looks did not find the feel soft at all. I am also a big fan of a persimmon like feel and the Modart was not...much to my surprise.

It is undoubtedly the prettiest driver I have ever seen and hopefully spends a long and fruitful life in Potuna's bag as I traded him mine.

If you are looking for solid/soft feel check out the GP Platinum.

yourpressed, have you played either a 435, Zero, Maxima or TRPX and can compare the face feel to any of those (in terms of softness)? No doubt it is probably the best looking driver out there...

Extremely helpful, thank you! I am a HUGE fan of the Zero face but also find the Crazy 435 somewhat soft (on good strikes). Glad the Modart is no worse than that (and probably more forgiving).

The Crazy 435 was the harshest feel ever for me.

435 is definitely harsh (very much like the Zero) on mis*its. When both are hit the sweet spot, the feel (to me) is amazing. The Ryoma felt spongy all over (probably because of its forgiveness). Trying the Kamui Nitro and definitely on center strikes you can almost feel the expansion/push against the ball but other areas of the face feel metallically and harsh.

How was the forgiveness & distance of the Modart compared to the others (to you)?
