Shankopotamus
I'm getting shipping quotes to Asia that are so ridiculous. Over $200 with both UPS, and USPS won't ship anything over 42". This is for an extra long box @ 51" for a driver. Has anyone from the continental US shipped a driver overseas? What are my other options? +TourSpecGolfer
It depends on the country you are shipping to. Not all Asia countries have restrictions on boxes over 42". One way around that is to box it yourself, fill out the USPS info and print the slip online and arrange a pickup. Often the pick up guy don't measure it and I've never seen one returned for being long. USPS Priority Mail Express Online.
lykato
I had the same issue. A good friend of mine who works at the post office told me to bring it to the post office and ship it from there. The fee is usually no more than $50 without tracking (9-10 days). It'll be over $100+ if you want tracking. The package I sent was about 49x6x6 and they didnt even measure it. They weighed the box and that was it. Don't go to one of these places that does USPS pricing, they will charge over $200 for USPS, UPS, and FEDEX. They only go by the dimensions provided. Hope this helps.
