shoutout33
Chris and Tario, Either you two are slippin' or Akira just came out with their blade yesterday. :p Just kidding, went on their FB page, and saw an advertisement for their irons. Check it out. Since my Japanese absolutely sucks (meaning I dont' know it...), I have no idea if this advertisement is this year, next year or whatever. I'm just giddy about seeing a blade from Akira...or any JDM company that doesn't normally have one in there line-up for that matter. ;p Man...I hope it's not cast...that would be a bummer, not a deal breaker in my opinion though. Oh yeah, don't forget you can get Akira stuff as components. Such a beautiful thing. :) Edited June 20, 2014 by shoutout33
Duffer19
Its in Chinese and page out of Taiwan, or Akira sole agent in Taiwan. No mention that the clubs are forged or casted.

Thanks Duffer, man I feel stupid. :( Although I can't read the characters, I usually can tell the difference between Japanese, Chinese and Korean. +TourSpecGolfer
It's all Cast! 100% These blades have been around for nearly 2 years. While I do like the shapes of many of the clubs they make, we have had customers that buy them thinking they are forged (they look like the forged type) and get upset it's cast. The castings feel and look good but the use of prototype bugs me ( these are not protos ) and they re use designs like no one else. If you like the look and shape of this MB go with the Honma TW717M, similar shape but forged.

Also, since they are cast, wouldn't they be little cheaper than forged blade? Edited June 20, 2014 by shoutout33

We carry everything Akira, it just hasn't been added to the store yet. We have an everlasting list of items that need to be added yet at the same time we also consider demand by our members. No one has asked for anything Akira in such a long time it's kinda been on the back burner. If you need a sent now you can email [email protected] for more info. If I wanted to get some JDM stuff, I'd go with something else. I was just intrigued that Akira had a blade is all. :)
