Bunches
I'm looking for a second set of irons. I really like my AF-302 but need a second set of irons to have at the house. I'd like something with the same size head or smaller, thinner top line, same offset or less (especially in the scoring irons) and leading edge relief. Trailing edge relief would be nice too. Since this is a send set, I'm looking for something that I can pick up used without the premium brand price markup (i.e. S-Yard, RomaRo, not Epon or Miura). It also must be available with a 4i and forged. Any suggestion on what to look at? Thanks
sandee11
How about yururi PDF blade that's on bst right now?
Bunches
I looked at those, but I'm looking for a little more leading edge relief. If they had good graphite shafts in R flex, I'd be tempted to give them a run.
hardboiled
Syard GTS? Very similar profile to the 302's. I have a set for sale in the BST. Edited June 24, 2014 by hardboiled
idrive
PRGR ID-BL's Exactly what you're looking for.
RIduffer
PRGR ID-BL's Exactly what you're looking for. You know that is Stew's vote too. Also might consider a TS 709 I think it was for MC, TS909 for MB... TS also has that nice combo set, a little to stumpy for me, but great irons... EdGolf
OnOff 2013 modle would be my suggestion.
Bunches
Thanks for the help. The S-Yards have too much offset, and the CB358 don't have the trailing edge relief. But the PRGR iD BL are pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. Who forges these? Edited June 24, 2014 by Bunches

Miuramaniac
Tourstage 709 MC has all the qualities you mention. Be careful though, these might replace your 302's as your first set.
+TourSpecGolfer
Hi Bunches, What is your handicap? You are female correct? We have a few sets of the PRGR iD Nabla Forged "TOUR" at a special price to offer you, these are a little less forgiving than the 302 but setup better from all angles, it's S20C endo forged yet has a different more pure less soft feel than the 302's, more forgiving than the TourStage MC, a bit softer as well yet with less feedback. Fujimoto Gikoh Believer & Adject Irons may also fit the bill, in terms of feel and setup they are better than most, the drawback is the stamping. RMX tour model CB is another, it is a tad bigger than the 302's but more forgiving, feel is a a bit firmer than your Epons. Thanks for your questions, you really know your stuff, I'm not sure if we have many females in the forums, especially ones that play the best mens clubs. RLL33
I have a set of the S-Yard GTS's in the BST forum as well, at a very low price. And they do have leading and trailing edge relief. But I understand your desire for perhaps a thinner top line. I've gone with the Yamaha RMX MB's this year and they are wonderful player's clubs. I'm sure the CB is as well. Chris really knows his stuff...
RLL33
I think we spoke once when I got my Miura 64-K wedge. I notice you grabbed one of those dozen as well. Nice, isn't it?

I'm a woman and a 8.7 but rising a bit. I play from the middle or back tee and difficult courses, so the slopes are usually pretty high. I'll look into the Nabla, on first glance it doest have any trailing edge relief. The iD BL is pretty much what I'm looking for. I think the Adject looks beautiful, but it seems like there might be a lot of mass visible at address. I don't want to see anything at address on a 4i. I'm not a Bridgestone fan at all, so that's a hard call. I like the RMX CB Tour, but the top line looks a little thick. The head size is something I wonder about with all of these too, as I want something the same size, but preferably smaller than the 302. I feel like Goldie Locks :) This is a second set so I'm going to keep an eye out on these suggestions for something used. I'm also looking at putting in graphite shafts to ease my wrists as I play a lot. I love steel though, so I know something decent (i95's?) is going to add to the tag pretty quickly. Thanks again for all of the suggestions. I think we spoke once when I got my Miura 64-K wedge. I notice you grabbed one of those dozen as well. Nice, isn't it? Yes, I think we did, and I bought one too. I love using a 64º and K Grinds as well, so I had to kick out for it. It was worth every penny and gets used a lot.
